Redeemer Lutheran Church, Vero Beach, FL is a mid-sized, family-oriented church, alive with the Holy Spirit, a fellowship of Christian believers, members of the body of Christ. We are confessional Lutheran in tradition, ecumenical in spirit, and resisting the false trends of the 'emerging church'. We are privileged to be involved in God's work in the world and to be in ministry in Vero Beach and Indian River County.
We have no special claim to fame
except serving a loving God, and proclaiming Christ and Him crucified.
Join us for Divine Worship Services: Sundays at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM (More about Divine Worship Services)
NOTE: We will hold only one Sunday service through the summer at 9:00 AM, followed by Bible Study at 10:30. We will return to our regular schedule in September. Come join us for worship!

The two largest Lutheran church bodies in the United States are the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) with 4.8 million members and The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) with 2.4 million members.
On Friday, Aug. 21, the Churchwide Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America voted to open the ministry of the ELCA to gay and lesbian pastors and other professional workers living in "committed relationships." In an earlier action, the assembly approved a resolution that commits the ELCA "to finding ways to allow congregations that choose to do so to recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable life-long, monogamous, same-gender relationships."
